Thomas' past threatens to destroy his menage and his future. This is an action packed, suspenseful ride, as Thomas tries to save his wife in Africa. Celia and Garret are threatened by the bad guys in his absence. This is Celia's story as she grows and becomes a strong character. This book is also the story of Thomas, Garret, and Celia's menage finding a better balance.
Not having read all the previous books, I don't know how strong of a foundation they had before. But it is a very entertaining read as they go through the journey. I liked this book so much, I went right out and bought the first one in the series so that I could see where it all began.
It was nice to see in the end this relationship working. Garrett was never my favorite for Kitten and I was relieved to see some soul searching honesty from him. I thought that was especially poignant when he was sharing his feelings with Thomas regarding the future and the menage and he said in the end Kitten wasn't going to be enough and he would need more. I felt like he realized he too wasn't enough for Kitten either.

I wasn't sure about Garrett until the very end. Kitten grew a "set" in the end I like them on her. She could be strong and submissive, weak was never attractive on her. My only eye roll I had twins and I'm not buying the delivery nor how much "energy" she had right up until she went into labor. I know that every pregnacy is different, but I think multiple birth is something difficult to write unless you have actually experienced it.
All in all, a entertaining series. Sep 12, Estelle rated it it was amazing Shelves: kindle.

I really enjoyed this book. More than the other books in the series, this one made a serious effort to confront the complications of the relationship. I'd like to see a similar relationship exploration without the backdrop of international espionage. There's enough complication in a menage relationship without needing to add a layer of spies and witness protection to the mix. I also really wanted to see more of the developing relationship between Nikos and Morgana. The book was relatively short I really enjoyed this book. The book was relatively short and there definitely could have been more exploration of this relationship before it was dropped by sending Nikos back into the spy world.
And it goes out with a BANG! Finally Kitten grows up and how she has her babies is so freakin' good. Yeah baby. I don't care if there are follow ups that ever mention my favorite menage again but I would like other efforts And it goes out with a BANG! I don't care if there are follow ups that ever mention my favorite menage again but I would like other efforts with some of the characters - for me I am satisfied with how this one ended and I can move on.
Sep 07, Renee ren rated it really liked it Shelves: bdsm , i-fucking-loved-this-book , menage , mmf. This was such a cool installment in the series! And while the whole birth of the twins scene was a little unbelieveable I wanted it to happen the way that it did so bad that I was willing to overlook it. Normally I'm not crazy about the switching between narrarators but this time there was enough hapening with every character that I didn't really mind.
I loved how everything ended up with Garret, Celia, Thomas, and the children. I would have loved to hear more about Nikkos and Morgana but I gues This was such a cool installment in the series! I would have loved to hear more about Nikkos and Morgana but I guess that will have to wait for another book. I'm hoping anyway View 1 comment.
It was peeling in the hot sun and arid air, and the once-crisp edges of his white trousers were wilting like a sad, dying flower. Go on. He made these detestable animals. Tall and mysterious, Kader was a man whose secrets I longed to know.
